Christian Counselling & Coaching

Purpose of Christian Counselling & Coaching Training

The Certificate in Christian Counseling & Life Coaching consists of a combination of courses that aim to teach students the knowledge and skills necessary to establish a foundation on the path to effective Christian counselling and life coaching. This certificate programme has a total of 65 subject units, which are split into 6 modules and taught over the course of two years.

The study programme is designed to assist prospective counsellors, leaders of ministries, and people interested in counselling to step into the lives of others in order to make a meaningful and lasting difference while people share the struggles and crises of life. The second field of specialisation, life coaching, has been added to make the qualification more relevant in contemporary times. It focuses on achieving potential rather than solving problems and has a proactive future focus in people’s lives. Our motivation for this is given to us by Jesus Christ Himself: “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” His instruction to us was to do the same.
