The Employee Assistance  Skills Programme form part of the Further Education & Training Certificate: Generic Management (Qualification 57712) This qualification is offered by LEDISA Academy in the form of 6 Skills Programmes (Study Schools). Skills Programme S15 deals with Employee Assistance.

Employee Assistance Overview

Around the world, Life Skills-Based Education (LSBE) is being adopted as a means to empower people in challenging situations, e.g., the HIV/ADIS pandemic and communication efficiency. LSBE refers to an interactive process of teaching and learning which enables you to acquire knowledge and to develop attitudes and skills that support the adoption of healthy behaviours. This Skills Programme showcases promising examples of life skills-based education around the world, provides case studies, and provides practical tools and materials for those ready to implement life skills-based education for HIV/AIDS prevention and business writing.

Skills Programme S15 is the last required Skills Programme (also called a Study School). It is made up of the courses (Unit Standards) in the table below.

Delivery Method & Language

The programme is facilitated in English by a competent subject matter specialist/s, who utilises the following techniques to ensure that the session is practical and experiential: Lecture, Exercises, Discussion, Role Plays, Case Studies, PowerPoint Presentation, Videos, Simulations, and Learner Assessment. Study Methods include workshop training, blended online learning and in-house/on-site training.

Financial Best Practices Certification

  • Upon successful completion, the learner will receive a Letter of Competence.
  • Upon verified Competence, the learner will receive a Certificate of Competence as well as a Statement of Results issued by Services SETA.

Accreditation

LEDISA Academy (Pty) Ltd is accredited for this training course with the Services SETA. Accreditation Number 9703. Proof of Registration available on request.

The Way Forward

Skills Programme S15 (Employee Assistance) is a compulsory programme. A certification of completion will be issued to successful candidates. This was the last step towards completion of the Further Education & Training Certificate: Generic Management.
