LEDISA Academy is proud to offer the SAQA Accredited Certificate in Generic Management (Qualification 57712) in the form of 6 Study Schools (Skills Programmes). All six study schools are compulsory programmes and learners complete the learning programme over a minimum period of 12 months and maximum of 24 months. This Learning Programme consists of 150 Credits on NQF Level 4.
Purpose of this Generic Management Training Course
This Learning Programme in Generic Management has been developed with the purpose of building capacity of Emerging Managers who are eager to build their management career. In this context therefore the emphasis is on first-line and middle managers of organisations and business units in medium and large organisations, or those aspiring to these positions. This may include team leaders, supervisors and foremen and section heads.
What is the minimum entry requirements?
- Communication at NQF Level 3.
- Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 3.
- Computer Literacy on NQF Level 3.
- Recognition of Prior Learning: This qualification can be achieved wholly or in part through Recognition of Prior Learning in terms of the defined exit level outcomes and/or individual unit standards.

Delivery Method & Language
The programme is facilitated in English by a competent subject matter specialist/s, who utilises the following techniques to ensure that the session is practical and experiential: Lecture, Exercises, Discussion, Role Plays, Case Studies, PowerPoint Presentation, Videos, Simulations, and Learner Assessment. Study Methods include workshop training, blended online learning and in-house/on-site training.
Certification
- Upon successful completion, the learner will receive a Letter of Competence.
- Upon verified Competence, the learner will receive a Certificate of Competence as well as a Statement of Results issued by Services SETA.
