Performance Management Overview

The Performance Management Skills Programme takes the learner through an introduction to organisational structures and how departments and various activities fit into the organisation as an entity. We then bring the team leader into the equation with our focus on the team leader’s responsibilities within the bigger picture of the organisation. We’re dissecting performance management even more when we formulate, implement, evaluate, and monitor a plan to achieve the team’s objectives. Performance Management is concluded with a guide to recordkeeping of the various organisational activities, plans and objectives.

Skills Programme S14 is the fifth compulsory Skills Programme (also called a Study School), and consists of the courses (Unit Standards) listed in the table below.

Delivery Method & Language

The programme is facilitated in English by a competent subject matter specialist/s, who utilises the following techniques to ensure that the session is practical and experiential: Lecture, Exercises, Discussion, Role Plays, Case Studies, PowerPoint Presentation, Videos, Simulations, and Learner Assessment. Study Methods include workshop training, blended online learning and in-house/on-site training.

Financial Best Practices Certification

  • Upon successful completion, the learner will receive a Letter of Competence.
  • Upon verified Competence, the learner will receive a Certificate of Competence as well as a Statement of Results issued by Services SETA.

The Way Forward
