Workplace Operations Objectives
After completion of this Workplace Operations Study School, successful learners will be capable of:
- Developing an operational plan for a unit.
- Implementing an operational plan.
- Monitoring, measuring, and evaluating the achievement of goals and objectives.
- Demonstrating knowledge of and insight into the need for change within the context of environmental change.
- Analysing an area requiring a change process.

- Explaining the concept of leadership.
- Differentiating between leadership and management.
- Analysing and comparing leadership theories.
- Applying the different roles and qualities of leadership in a work context.

- Applying mathematical analysis to calculate and represent financial and economic data.
- Applying mathematical analysis to indicate economic relationships.

Delivery Method & Language
The programme is facilitated in English by a competent subject matter specialist/s, who utilises the following techniques to ensure that the session is practical and experiential: Lecture, Exercises, Discussion, Role Plays, Case Studies, PowerPoint Presentation, Videos, Simulations, and Learner Assessment. Study Methods include workshop training, blended online learning and in-house/on-site training.
Workplace Operations Certification
- Upon successful completion, the learner will receive a Letter of Competence.
- Upon verified Competence, the learner will receive a Certificate of Competence as well as a Statement of Results issued by Services SETA.
Accreditation
LEDISA Academy (Pty) Ltd is accredited for this training course with the Services SETA. Accreditation Number 9703. Proof of Registration available on request.
The Way Forward
Skills Programme S21 (Workplace Operations) is a compulsory programme. A certification of completion will be issued to successful candidates and the next step towards completion of the National Certificate: Management Leadership (Generic Management) is enrolment for Skills Programme (Study School) S22: Systems & Processes
