Financial Best Practices Overview

This is not only a programme about financial skills. Mathematical literacy will be put to good use in the application of newly found knowledge and skills. The learner will understand the concept of budgeting and will be able to write and present a business report that is inclusive of all the aspects of this programme, e.g., presenting budgets and reporting on the local and global financial aspects that may have an impact on an organisation.

Skills Programme S12 is the third required Skills Programme (also called a Study School). It is made up of the courses (Unit Standards) listed in the table below.

Delivery Method & Language

The programme is facilitated in English by a competent subject matter specialist/s, who utilises the following techniques to ensure that the session is practical and experiential: Lecture, Exercises, Discussion, Role Plays, Case Studies, PowerPoint Presentation, Videos, Simulations, and Learner Assessment. Study Methods include workshop training, blended online learning and in-house/on-site training.

Financial Best Practices Certification

  • Upon successful completion, the learner will receive a Letter of Competence.
  • Upon verified Competence, the learner will receive a Certificate of Competence as well as a Statement of Results issued by Services SETA.

LEDISA Academy (Pty) Ltd is accredited for this training course with the Services SETA. Accreditation Number 9703. Proof of Registration available on request.

The Way Forward
