The Minister of Religion Certificate (Occupational Certificate: Christian Religious Professional – Qualification 101571) is proudly offered by LEDISA Academy in the form of 13 Knowledge Modules, 16 Practical Modules and 5 Workplace Experience Modules. All thirty four modules are compulsory programmes and learners complete the learning programme over a minimum period of 24 months and a maximum of 36 months. This learning programme consists of 237 Credits on NQF Level 5.

A Minister of Religion (Christian Religious Professional) directs and conducts the ministry functions in a faith community in order to facilitate spiritual formation; nurture fellowship and mutual care within the faith community; helps members to develop a Christian lifestyle; provides strategic leadership that leads to obedience to vocation as well as well-being and sustainability of the faith community; and develops a missional practice that shares the good news of Jesus Christ and serves the holistic well-being of the entire community.

How long does it take to complete the Minister of Religion Course?

The course can be completed in a period of 24 months by a partime learner. We do, however, offer a 24 month minimum and a 36 month maximum to complete the learning programme.

The programme is facilitated in English by a competent subject matter specialist/s, who utilises the following techniques to ensure that the session is practical and experiential: Lecture, Exercises, Discussion, Role Plays, Case Studies, PowerPoint Presentation, Videos, Simulations, and Learner Assessment. Study Methods include a blended and/or hybrid approach.

Certification

  • Upon successful completion, the learner will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by LEDISA Academy.
  • Upon verified Competence of the Occupational Certification 101571, the learner will receive a Certificate of Competence as well as a Statement of Results from the Quality Council for Trade & Occupations (QCTO).
